Kenya Airways (KQ) has achieved a significant milestone by securing Part-145 certification from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
This accreditation empowers KQ to expand its Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) services to include European-registered aircraft.
This achievement positions KQ as a leading MRO provider in Africa, opening doors to new business opportunities by enabling the airline to attract maintenance contracts from European aircraft operators.
“The EASA certification strategically positions KQ as the go-to MRO organization in Africa, allowing us to perform maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on European-registered aircraft and components,” said KQ CEO Allan Kilavuka.
